To enhance focus towards new startups, small limited companies and sole traders, who typically only require self-assessment once a year, we have created a spin off company Bristol Accounting Limited. The implementation of Making Tax Digital for Self-Assessment has now been put back to April 2026. When it is implemented Bristol Accounting will be ready to keep our clients compliant to the latest HMRC requirements.

Whether you are a small or larger company, you can be assured that we will use the latest technologies to fulfil your reporting requirements in an as environmentally friendly way as possible. We achieve this through OCR (optical character recognition) to extract the financial information from receipts (using a mobile app) or invoices (scanning or by forwarding email attachments). We don’t lose sight of the fact that some of our clients prefer to work with paper or don’t have any choice. So optionally, we’ll pick up your paperwork from your premises as required.
